Stewardship
Robert Georgescu
My experience combines commercial responsibility, enterprise delivery, and building new capabilities.
It has shaped my perspective on opportunity: what lasting value could be created, and what it would take to realize it.

Experience Behind the Work
I focus on problems that must be solved, not just explained, and opportunities waiting to be captured.
At Ericsson, I led delivery for strategic telecommunications accounts across EMEA, with responsibility for a €5.5 million annual scope covering contract performance, service quality, delivery costs, NOC investments, capability development and profitability within the Global Services Center. I also developed, implemented and sold an analytics solution that improved root-cause pattern recognition in incident and problem management.
At Vodafone, I worked within Global ITSM and Global TOP Services across EMEA and APAC, spanning service-level management and major-incident response. Improvements I delivered reduced major-incident management process restoration times by an average of 7% year on year, with €48 million in savings modelled over five years. In a separate service-management role, I led the creation of a shared knowledge base that reduced onboarding time by 30%.
Most recently, at Oracle, I supported enterprise SaaS and legacy customers representing €11 million in annual recurring revenue, working across service delivery, adoption and business-value reviews. I also developed an AI-assisted approach that accelerated the resolution of multiple high-touch customer disruptions.
These experiences have led me to look beyond whether a proposed course could work, to whether it is worth what a business would commit to it.
Sometimes a more valuable possibility remains unseen because of how the situation was understood in the first place.
This is also one of the questions behind my independent research. I originated a cognitive architecture for an artificial mind and cybernetic organism, and am currently developing the related software project, Chimon
Why the Cabinet Exists
Consequential decisions rarely belong cleanly to one discipline. Operations, capital, technology, people, incentives, evidence, timing, and governance may all be involved at once.
The Cabinet exists to improve the conditions under which a principal's decision is made.
How I Hold Judgment
Evidence before elegance.
Uncertainty remains visible.
Mandate remains with the principal.
Expertise should be real.
Where I Should Not Be the Answer
I do not manufacture certainty or remove complexity.
I do not substitute for specialist legal, tax, regulatory, or technical expertise.
I do not expand a mandate merely because a matter becomes interesting.
I do not remain involved when the value I can add is no longer sufficient.
If the Matter Warrants a Conversation
What is possible is not necessarily what is worth pursuing.
The useful work is to separate what is known from what is assumed, understand what could change the outcome, and see where a choice may become difficult to reverse.
If the Cabinet cannot improve that clarity or optionality, it should not be involved. Some opportunities are valuable because they can be declined.
